I thought I'd try my hand at some het. :D

The thing is, when she was in Odessa? Peter was exactly the kind of guy she thought she wanted. The kind of guy she'd end up with. The kind of guy who would come all the way from New York to save you and then leave with nothing more than a thank-you.

Peter is sweet and thoughtful and sensitive and brave.

All of which adds up to a little boring, in reality. She tried. Once things really started to get crazy and she left Odessa to try and help (but mostly to get the hell out of Odessa, let's not kid ourselves) and she realized that Peter and Hiro and Mohinder were all serious about this superhero crap… Well. She really did try.

Peter was awkward and made a big deal about her age and then fucked her anyway, or made love or whatever the heck you want to call it. And it was good. She's not saying it wasn't good. It was everything a first time-because she is so not counting Brody-should be ( ... )

I wasn't sure when I saw the pairing, but given that you were the author, I gave it a try. The last paragraph made it all worth it. And the preceding bits weren't so bad either*g*.

It's all so very Nathan, and it's so easy to see why a girl like Claire could be enticed (who wouldn't be?). Only questions are, would she stick around now? And how much does Peter know?

Thank you! Yeah, the only way I could make this work was to take it to the dirtybadwrong place. *laughs* Fortunately this is fandom, so no one really complains about that!

oh my GOD... YES! I was so uncertain about the pairing but this is so exactly the Nathan in my head I'm tempted to tell you to get out (except for how if you're going to be this then by all means, STAY!).

I love that Nathan is so completely ok with everything he's doing, because that's Nathan, and it's part of why I love him.

And in the end it's all about PETER! YAY!

*laughs* I LOVE Nathan, but I love Nathan BECAUSE he's very...driven and sort of amoral and very much the ends justifies the means.

Loved it! This is Nathan at his asshole best.

When I first started watching the show I described Nathan Petrelli to a few friends in chat as 'that guy that will screw you, then tell you he's married and then ask for your number. And you give it to him.'

It's just something about him, that smile, that confidence, that charm. And I loved the mention about Peter.

Oh, very yes. I can totally see him corrupting her like this and her falling in love with it because she's so jaded. (And yeah, Peter as top in a het relationship would be probably be boring with a capital B.)

Awesome characterization of Nathan, just awesome. \o/

Oh, Nathan and his fucked-up-edness.

And you know, I thought being in the SPN fandom would have prepared me for anything, but He gives her the strap on and then holds himself open while she pegs him with it took me by surprise. Also made me very gleeful.
