[Quinn knows he can't hide in Cyuss's house forever. Eventually, he has to go back to work or he'll get droned into doing it, which is the last thing he wants to happen, next to being brutally murdered like most of the town has been. [Quinn had seen Scott a bit off his mark before. Perhaps "off his mark" wasn't as severe a term to describe what Quinn will see on his walk home.

Scott is holding what looks like a rusty machete in one hand, his other clutching his stomach as a decent portion of blood trickles between his fingers. The young "hero", if he could be called such now, limps on his left leg, the other dragging behind him as if it were dead and useless.

Scott, through one good eye, looks up to catch sight of Quinn. He freezes in place, his expression stuck in a perpetual state shock and surprise. His lips do not move, and it seems as if he cannot call out to Quinn.]

[Quinn freezes too, the whole thing seemingly unreal. But after a moment, Quinn drops his groceries and runs over to him.]

[Scott makes no real reply. He merely just stands there, keeping his eyes locked on Quinn as he makes his approach. The only movement coming from Scott is the grip on his machete, tightening his fingers around the handle of the blade.]

[Quinn quickly approaches, but when he sees Scott tighten a grip on this knife, he slows up.]

Hey... hey just put that down, okay? There's still some doctors around. I can get you to the hospital.

Ya sure 'bout that? Ya don't have to stay long. It's probably safer back in the houses, but droning would be a bad thing durin' all this.

I wish I had an answer for ya. Don't worry, there're people who can keep ya safe, if ya got a letter. Not everyone is involved with all this... stuff.

[Mart is clutching his gut. He got a nasty near gutting form his target after trying to bludgeon him with a rock.

Its bandaged but it still hurts like hell. Not to mention the town amping up his fear of getting eaten.

Hey man, it's fine. So long as you're safe. I''m over at 745 Partridge if ya need me. I'm hangin' out with Cyuss. Figure it's best to stick to my friends who got big swords with 'em. He got a letter though, so...

...He also kicked down the door of the house. Don't let it freak ya out.
