Come BOINC with me!

Having finally converted my old Seti@Home account to the new BOINC standard, I also formed my own team.

If I had the spare processor power (or second computer) to do SETI@Home, I would happily do so with your team.

My computer folds for Folding@Home, as evangelized in my userinfo. (:

Believe it or not, I was thinking of you when I posted that.

I almost titled it "Come fold with me" or named the team something about folding. It just sounds cool, reminding me of "Fold, Spindle, Mutilate".

But BOINC won out. Once I get another human on my team, I can start talking smack about how my team rulz, right?

No kidding?

I tried a few times to load a new data set into my old desktop PC but got connection failures (nothing new there! huh huh) ...
... good too hear that it's still operating. I'll do whatever.

cheers

It's still working, but they forced everyone to migrate from the stand-alone SETI program to BOINC, of which SETI is just a small part.

I resisted the change, then relented, and now find myself "folding" with the Rosetta project and Team Mensa Poland.

Apparently resistance is truly futile and I was assimilated. . .

Yaa, well, for the sake of group-project I'll suffer a bit of assimilation.

BOINC ... K ... will google this. thanks
