Love the yearning aspect of this story, both of Adam towards S (you don't specifally name, so I don't feel I should), but of Brad yearning towards Adam and their closeness and what they used to have, and the feeling that it will now be different forever. <3 <3 <3

The not-naming thing just sort of happened; there was no real place for them to use Sauli's name in the conversation and I kind of liked what it implied, so I left it.
