Parva told us about that article at the beginning of Latin. Jenna spent the whole time reading the comments. We enjoyed laughing at the stupidity of some people.

But all in all, the article's just fucking stupid. I just posted a couple of long comments, one refuting someone's idiotic assumptions and another giving my opinions on the article.

I shrugged off the article, because everyone's allowed their opinion and freedom of speech allows us to post radical bullshit about something we don't like, ridden with errors and unfounded opinions. I couldn't bring myself to shrug off the commentary that ensued, though. These people call themselves Christians? It seems that only a handful have their head screwed on right, and as a collective whole their conversations retain as much order as an episode of Family Guy. When I visit a Godsquad forum, I expect to see some pretty explicit views against homosexuality...but I don't think I've ever witnessed people talking about the differences between a .22 and a .44 and rant about how guns kill and do their job. What the fuck IS that?! I have half a mind to throw together a photoshop saying, "Jesus did say, 'I am neither chill with your hate nor your gats, so do calm your britches, o my people,'" and post it there. Once the omg-we-haef-been-vandelyzed!1 effect wears off, it might make a point.

I hate that article. The posters are jerks. Christianity is a very screwed up religion if people think that homosexuality and NDS are "evil", but shooting guns and insulting people are both fine. And I'm even more glad that I decided not to believe in it. That's all I have to say.
