"I've heard a little about this place from Takeru san, but I'm still curious to know how it works without a computer present." The green eyed teen eyed the vacant playground with intrigue. It did not seem all that special from the distance after all.
As their feet touched the ground, Iori reached for his back pack and pulled out two flash lights. "Here's one for you." Iori handed one to his senior, and waited for further instruction.

He took the offered flashlight with a small smile, a little impressed; he'd spaced flashlights entirely, mostly because he hadn't been using one during his nightly adventures, but they were an excellent idea. "Good thinking, Iori-kun." He said, before glancing around once more. "We should cover the entire area, systematically. The gate is by the ridge on the far side, so we should be certain to inspect that area in particular."

He quickly eyed his right hand where the pain had been, then pulled his mouth into a thin line. "Is there any signs I should look for? or a device that would let us detact any signal? I'll follow your lead because Upamon's vision isn't as strong as Tentomon." Dropping his partner down onto the floor, he asked the redhead, and swung his bag to bring out two packets of granola bar, and looked at his partner questioningly.
Upamon eyed the granola bar unwillingly. Even though he had agreed to help Iori out, still he was not sure how he felt about this whole deal.
Also the comment he just said sounded like he underestimated his ability, and it stung his little heart. The digimon reluctantly ate the given snack as he needed the energy for the search and to evolve.

At Iori's question, he looked over again. "My phone has the radar program installed on it, and it will give us a signal if any unidentified Digimon appear in the area." Koushirou explained, looking around again while Iori interacted with Upamon. Something felt a bit weird. He wasn't the sort of go on intuition with no evidence, even if his intuition usually ended up being right, but still. He was going to be wary, especially as it wasn't just him and Tentomon this time; he needed to watch out for Iori.
"Are you both ready to go?" He asked, while Tentomon rummaged around in Koushirou's bag for a snack of his own.

The brunette observed Koushirou's face. Granted, he did not show much facial expression in general, but Iori recognized his sparkling eyes more than the fear.
"...In the past I would've liked to turn back at this point." Iori commented as he tailed his companion, quickly eying Tentomon. "But we came all the way out here, and I refuse to go home empty handed without some information." With this, Iori flashed a smile to Koushirou who was intently gazing down on the Digimon Analyzer.
"And I have a hunch that's what you want to do?"

Iori advanced cautiously towards the building behind Koushirou with anxiety heightening his senses. Pausing his sight to each side of the shirine for any visual abnormalities, Iori sighed as nothing seemed out of normal, to relieve tension.
However, he still kept his guard up- keeping his audatory senses in check.
He could hear the Upamon's rhythemic breathing, which strangely relexed him, and heard the ruffling of Koushirou's clothing, as well as buzzing of Tentomon's wings. Iori memebered, and asked Tentomon.
"Tentomon, what was it that you saw back there?"
Waiting for reply Iori gazed deep into the wooden door of the shrine, and blinked as he thought he saw faint trail of red light behind the paper door.

Tentomon looked down at Iori at the question, seemingly almost surprised; the Digimon had forgotten all about his sighting during the strange encounter they'd had. "I thought I saw eyes, and sensed another Digimon."

He followed Koushirou with his eyes for a moment as he seemed more focused on clearing than the actual shrine.
'Then I'll look in the shrine area.'
Iori looked hard at the dark building, strengthening his grip on the branch.
Pzzt-
Younger boy's ears perked up at unnatural static noise, and he sharply requested, bringing his voice down to a whisper, as he detected agile movement of a black blur accompanied with a trail of pair of red-light source.
"Tentomon, could you come down to the ground?"
Iori brought his index finger to his mouth before Tentomon had a chance to ask about the reason, then quickly glanced to Koushirou, signaling with a quick jilt of his chin towards the building. Then he pointed between the pit of darkness beyond the shrines two main pillars, where the black 'thing' was still moving erratically.
