Oktoberfest, 2006
In case anybody didn't realize, Oktoberfest is quickly approaching.
If you've never been, you should go. If you've been no further explanation is necessary.
This year, at least a few of us are planning on attending Friday October 20th and Saturday October 21st.
Our current plan is to leave decently early on Friday (perhaps 11am or so), get to Tulsa, check into a hotel, enjoy some homebrew Oktoberfest at the hotel (provided by me), then catch a cab or other form of public transit over to Oktoberfest.
We will then stay there all day (well at least quite a bit past dark). Activities after this are still TBA, but end eventually by returning to the hotel and passing out,
Only to go back the next day when they open at 10AM!!!!!!! (Well, maybe not 10AM, depends on how hung over we are)
In any case, we will drive back Saturday night.
Anybody who wishes to can meet up with us either on Friday or Saturday.
I'm going to reserve 1 hotel room. If we need more, I need to know soon. The best location (Microtel next to the Fairgrounds) is all booked up, but there are plenty of other hotels with available rooms, so if you want to stay over Friday evening, post a comment or get ahold of me as soon as possible so we can coordinate reservations.
