[a buzz of static for a moment, then the screen displays a video recording of him speaking]Ahem. Primitive as this technology is, I suppose it will suffice for a basic means of communication

Dear, dear, Foaly. I've never even met you before! Or well, I have met you I suppose, in your memories, but you've never met me! That's the best way to put it. I've met you, but you haven't met me.
Oh, and sorry but, your tinfoil hat won't stop me from being able to read your mind. ♥
Holly! You're here too? It's so nice to hear another familiar voice that isn't Opal.
Of course I know what's going on. I have yet to find my supposed lodgings and I still have not fully explored this compound, but I am completely aware of the reason I have been brought here, as silly as it may be. I've also discerned that the level of technology here seems to be alarmingly low, even considering these personal devices we are given. There appears to be no security system in place at all. The compound itself is in ruins. How on earth do they expect us to fight a war in these conditions?
Not to mention all the Mud Men running about. As much as it pains me to think, mind-wipes aren't going to be feasible. Of course, considering the nature of how we are brought here, from different universes and such, and the fact we're unlikely to leave, it may not be such an issue...
Nice to hear you too. I never thought I'd miss being talked at so much. Ran into her already?
Well, from what I can tell we were sent here after the last place got completely wrecked with radiation or something along those lines. Hence the fact it's a mess. But yeah, this place is pretty useless. And considering we're in a war, well, I haven't seen anything useful going on. Just a bunch of people arguing with each other for most of the time. Typical.
...Though with security the cuffs are annoyingly good at it. Just ask my head.
I gave up on that after a while, to be honest. I mean, there are enough species around here to draw attention away from us. Still, best to try and keep away from the Mud Men if possible on principle, really.
Talked at? [sounds offended] What would you ever do without me? Yes, unfortunately.
Wonderful. This is exactly what I want to do with my time! [the sarcasm is more than obvious]
Ah, so that's what these cuffs are for. I've examined them, naturally, but haven't been able to discern any sort of apparent hardwiring. Interesting. Is much of this compound powered by magic then?
Yes, yes, of course. Best to lie low. And parallel universes... something not even the People have discovered. For being so highly advanced with their pulling people here from different worlds, you'd think whoever's running this operation would at least give us nicer things.

Good to see you at last. Took long enough getting here, eh? Missed you.
[Amused] I guess it'd be stupid to ask if you've taken a look around and know what's going on?
((OOC: Strikes muttered))
