I've known Canadians who would loudly declare that Canada is WAY better than the U.S.

Is Tucson the Canada of Phoenix?

I can't answer that, because now I'm not sure if we're operating on the assumption that "Canada of" means "cooler version of" or "bland version of."

Well, if you would read the page that I linked to, you'll see that it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with being cooler or blander. And this post is getting increasingly unfunny the more I have to explain it. :P
