Nice guess, but it's actually something my department's newly-hired* compling professor said in his seminar yesterday. He's inordinately fond of throwing in random bits of hip-hop slang whenever he's talking about linguistics. I'm still trying to decide whether this lecturing style of his is amusing, or annoying.

He's also one of the last remaining fans of Weezer. (Not that that has anything to do with anything.)

*He's actually only about a year or two older than me...yet another sign that it's time for me to finish already!
