Thank you! It's hard for me to do Ten and Rose post-JE as *too* angsty. I mean, it's the Doctor and Rose, and they SORT OF went through this all ready in The Christmas Invasion. That's what I tell myself, anyway. :D

Oh yeah, this is just simply amazing. An excellent mix of humor and angst (without getting too angsty yet), and it blends in perfectly with the episode. Ten II is still the Doctor, and I love where you went with his thoughts--really scattered about all over the place, he's happy he's there with Rose, he's sad because he's missing the Tardis and the life he knew, there's a bit of Donna in there, and of course, there's the Doctor/Time Lord mind just holding it all together.

Ten II is still the Doctor, and I love where you went with his thoughts--really scattered about all over the place, he's happy he's there with Rose, he's sad because he's missing the Tardis and the life he knew, there's a bit of Donna in there, and of course, there's the Doctor/Time Lord mind just holding it all together.

Ten II is such a fascinating character. I really DO see him as essentially the Doctor, and being stranded in this parallel world with Rose would make him so happy and yet so utterly confused and out of place.
