This was an excellent read. Thank you for sharing it. I love Lestrade's part in this and how he helps John. Have you considered writing a companion piece in which Sherlock figures out who attacked John [maybe he gets his hands on John's clothes and finds enough evidence on them] and seeks a little Consulting Detective Revenge?

This was so well done! There were times when I found myself leaning into the screen or holding my breath to see what was going to happen next, and especially to see how Sherlock was going to be when they came back to Baker Street.
So happy to see you writing Sherlock fic :)

I really enjoyed that Lestrade played such a large role in this - a nice change of pace. Great job!
