Nope - that's the government, and they don't consider me a mature student. Just the Mature Students Office in UCD. I wish I got a grant... I could defuzz myself then.

I was under the impression that the government considered you a mature student if you start the year aged 23 or older....

Nah, not really. If I started my course after I was 23, then yes. If I was living independently - i.e. not with my folks - and a mature student, then I'd be eligible for a grant. *sigh*
