OH MY GOD YOU WROTE ME BELLONUS/DEOMIORIX FOR MY LJVERSARY. IN LATIN. WITH A WORD PICTURE AT THE END. YOU SHOULD SEE MY FACE RIGHT NOW. SOMEONE SHOULD SEE MY FACE RIGHT NOW. I AM SURE MY FACE IS FULL OF INDESCRIBABLE HAPPINESS. I THINK MY FACE WILL BREAK FROM SMILING.

This is the best LJversary present ever, even outstripping sparkling unicorns. (And it takes a lot to beat unicorns.)

(...now I suppose I will have to write more about them, won't I?)

EEEEEEEEEEE.

Okay, I worked out "Bellonus non obliviscitur belli" and "Sed hac nocte, Deomiorix non dormit" (imperfectly) well enough, but I'm very glad you provided a translation! Lovely in both languages.

What a delight! Though the 45 years which have passed since I last used my Latin made me very grateful for the translation. But very pleasing and clever!

I have no Latin to speak of, so I had to rely on the translation. But the translation is lovely. Bravo!

Also, I have friended you because I should have done that ages ago. Hope that's okay.

um... hope it's not too wildly wrong to admire this as a shining example of ars gratia amoris (fingers crossed!)

This is wonderful, and I adore it. I especially love fic that does nice things to what I still fondly refer to as my (former) brain (which is another reason for loving Sineala's wonderful story) And how much do I love it that we have Pros in Latin...

You guys are made of many-splendoured win.

Art for the sake of love? Yeah, if you can call this art. ;) I am really glad that you liked it, because I had way too much fun working on it and pretending that I was doing my actual Latin homework. Also, whee! More Pros Latin people!

I only remember a little, alas - enough to get some of the sentences but not all (I can read the Romance family of languages, which helps a bit) - but it's just so, so cool beyond words to have Pros in Latin! *g*

And yes, I'd certainly call it art! The art of fanfic: a labour of love if ever there was one *bg*
