Poking around this journal, you may get the impression that my life is all sexy fanfiction and bleak wastelands of library science. But this is not the case

Also, hai, I crochet too :D But, have done mostly very practical stuff for `self (hat, scarf, failed attempt at fingerless gloves xD). But, these dinos? Prettyprettypretty!
Yay for crocheting! I am in awe of your ability to do hats--no matter what I do, they always come out doll-sized. *facepalm* There are tons of amigurumi crochet books out there, if you want to try something like this--Creepy Cute Crochet is my favorite, and it's really simple because the little things don't have arms or anything. You've never seen a more adorable grim reaper...
Okay, so, in general I am always fascinated-slash-impressed by people who can make things with their hands like this - crocheting and knitting and sewing. For an Appalachian girl I am shockingly inept with my fingers; if it's not a console game controller or a keyboard, my hands are pretty well useless. So the fact that you crochet on top of the awesome fic and arcane library magic, well. *bows down*
AND THEN YOU GO AND MAKE A CROCHETED STEGOSAURUS AND MY LIFE IS ACTUALLY COMPLETE. I am actually fangirling your crocheted dinosaurs as we speak. They're just...and his little armor plates...and the TRISARAHTOPS. And the long-neck (yes I said it, don't judge). And they're crocheted, they're like dinosaur-shaped tea cozies. Like if tea cozies were actually Transformers and became little prehistoric creatures and saved the world. I just...you are the MOST AWESOME, basically.
...wow, that went a bit long and, um. Insane? Haha, I'm sorry I'm so creepy... *slinks off*
Heee. Well, I guess it balances--I am hopeless with game controllers. ;)
I need to make another long-neck. I sent the one in the picture to my sister as part of her birthday present, since they were always her favorite dinosaur.
Also, LOLing over here at the idea of dinosaur Transformer tea cozies. I would so watch that Saturday morning cartoon. :D
