Hey guys, hey guys. I just made my first Wikipedia edit!

Because someone blatantly misattributed* a Yoda quotation. In the entry on an absurdly obscure figure of speech. Oh yeah, that's me, fierce defender of truth upon the Interwebs.

But seriously. They didn't even have the right trilogy.

Also, my car is broken. There is something severely wrong with ( Read more... )

Non id cognovi.

(I, er, hope I got the grammar right. My last Latin course was six years ago.)

Heck, I'm not sure, either, and my last Latin was only two years back. ;) So I'll take it.

Love the icon, too!

Cogito cogito ergo cogito sum? (My grammar is probably beyond horrendous, but we're going over quantum mechanics in class.)

Quick! I need your Owen research or at least good book recs!

Hee! Schrodinger would probably approve (though it's impossible to say for certain). XD

Anything by Dominic Hibberd! Wilfred Owen: The Last Year was the best source I read, hands down. He's also got a broader one called Owen the Poet, which I ordered from a neighboring university and...never received. Anyone earlier than Hibberd tends to gloss over certain aspects of his life and poetry, if you know what I'm saying.

I also found Owen's collected letters really interesting, at least the ones he wrote during the war.

Paul Fussell's The Great War and Modern Memory is pretty broad, but it does talk about Owen.

And now I'm looking through Amazon to make sure I've got the titles right, and I want this book so badly. They have it at the OU library, but I don't go there anymore, wah.

Schrödinger may or may not have had a cat...

Wonderful! I'll probably be coming back to you as it looks like I'll be writing the Owen screenplay this semester.

omg perfect! Our library doesn't have it, but I can request it.

Huzzah! I am so excited about the prospect of a screenplay.

Let me know if that book is good--I'm not paying $80 for it, but I can probably get a friend to check it out from OU on quarter loan and send it to me. ;)

no, but I knew about the Undictionary. If it doesn't make you dry-heave laughing, you might not have a soul.

I...I had no idea that existed. I am going to waste the rest of my life clicking on random pages now. XD

uncyclopedia.org
I am possibly retarded. undictionary doesn't even make sense. uncyclopedia does.

Which is funny, because there actually is an undictionary, related to the uncyclopedia but shorter. And with less calories.

Now I have two sites to peruse forever. :D

ha. i love sending you into an unproductive spiral. but really. you graduated. you don't *have* to be productive.

In my opinion.

There are Star Wars Very Secret Diaries? Why have I not seen these before? Link me?

PS: How to stop an exploding emo. I am never going to be productive again, and the blame/praise is all on you, missy.
