So I got off work tonight--fifteen minutes late, because Amy asked me to finish stocking the candles and I have a history of breaking them so I put them up one at a freaking time because I'm paranoid like that--and Mom's there to pick me up.

*hugs* ._. What is it about disappointing loved ones, especially parents, that has the power to make things even bigger than they should rightfully be? I'm glad things are going better now, at least.

And when you're finished with that carol I would really love to see it :)

I think that there's some genetic precondition that parents MUST lecture their children about just about everything. It seems like every time I go home, I get one of the following: I'm getting good grades, right?, I need to start looking for jobs after college, I need to save more money, ... you get the idea. You'll do fine. You're a much better student than I am, so yeah, you'll finish.
(Sorry if that sounds slighty incoherent, I just woke up)
