What all did your instructor say? Did she offer advice, or was it just "I don't like this, work your ass off to fix it over the break and get back to me"?

There was advice. Basically "please actually do some research before you turn in the next draft." Which is valid, because I hadn't done any research, and I was very open about that. She was really trying to be nice about it, and I appreciate it. I'm just stuck on the word "clueless," no matter how lightly it was used. *sigh* I plan to get over myself by tomorrow. I have to--my Latin paper is due on Friday. The one I haven't started yet. ;)

Ahh...yeah, that is a bit harsh. But it means that by the end of this, between the two of you you'll have a kick-ass thesis.
