apparently it's not an april's fool joke (I DO HOPE) & the new episode of sanctuary is already available on the american itunes store ... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH*KEYSMASH* but i can't download it because i live in switzerland & when i log in this stupid thing always redirects me to the swiss store. where the episode isn't availabe. of course. waaaat, i ( Read more... )

Well, in case you ever want to d/l from the US i-tunes store, there's a workaround. Get an AMERICAN I-tunes gift card which you can then use to in the US shop. I've used this before and it worked without a problem.

huh, do you think i can buy an us-gift card here in switzerland? that would be really cool, maybe i should look into that... thanks :)
although right now i'm kinda hoping someone else will upload the episode to somwhere i can download it from *g*

I use this site (http://itunes-express.web.officelive.com/default.aspx), where you can get gift voucher codes within a few minutes if you have a credit card (I'm not a very patient person), but you pay a bit extra for that. Otherwise you have to order actual cards and then wait for them to ship ...

I love sanctuary, I am ashamed to admit I haven't seen season two yet. I have been seeing trailers for it and I cant wait to get into the show again.

hee, i'm exactly the same sometimes - but it's not a bad thing, because now you've got lots of absolutely wonderful episodes to look forward to! and once you started you don't have to wait a week between each & every one... *siiigh*

I am Swiss, myself, and like a few friends, wanted an app from the UK store... So for the account part, it works wonderfully, but I did not try the "adding money" part...

thanks for the link! it looks good, but i don't think that would work for me - it says that for something that's not free you still have to buy a gift card from that country. someone already sent me a link where i can do that online ;) maybe i'll just do that. idk.

Good luck then. But apparently, using a card / code bought in the right country does work.

And how I found my way here? Probably looking for something relating to fanfic and Torchwood and/or Doctor Who :)

i know all about life intervening ;) i'm not the best in answering quick... oh well. i got the episode another way now, without having to do anything at all, yay \o/ i really really love fandom sometimes.

...and augh, you're a whoniverse fan, yay! so am i - although torchwood completely shattered my heart & i probably won't be watching miracle day as soon as it airs. i'm still weeping over all those characters that i fell in love with and lost :(
