Yeah, it passed 52-48. The silver lining in all of this is that even though the proposition technically overturns the Supreme Court's ruling, the Supreme Court still has the power to overturn the proposition. They can't add something to their constitution which is in violation of their constitution without amending the sections against discrimination.
It's a tricky fight, but I think we can win in the end. It's just a loooooooong battle.

yeah the minute they try and strip someones marriage this gets frozen and the courts fight it all the way up. Then it gets overturned on constitutional grounds and everyone gets to keep their marriage.
Its just going to be loud and ugly for a few years.
