You two are really cute together, and you both have a great energy. My on piece on concrit is that it takes three and a half minutes for you both to actually explain what your vlog channel is about. The intro stuff is very interesting, but I'm watching this video because I'm your friend - I don't know how long someone who doesn't know either of you and is just looking for a fannish vlog would watch waiting for you both to explain what's going on? Maybe for your next video you could open with "This is Tempest and Vivian, Two Fat Fangirls, and [this is what this video is about]". I listen to a lot of podcasts, and having a neat intro like that helps to give context for new listeners who are just checking out the latest ep.
We noticed that on our second video--Well I did. As I was editing it, I saw that we talked a LOT about BBC Sherlock but never actually said WHY it was awesome. We've re-shot it. But our work schedules keep messing things up and getting more videos out there is hard because of it.

I've done a podcast in the past, and I'm working on one now with a friend, and it does take a conscious effort to switch from squeeing about something to analysing something. I've found that having a list of technical points to discuss really helped. Also, having your motive for your project in your mind. Are you doing this vlog because you want to convince people to check out something they haven't seen? Because you want to encourage them to interact with media they're familiar with in a different way? Or because you want to express your own relationship with the media? All three are equally legitimate, but could require very different approaches to the way you talk about your topic.
