Another step towards marriage equality

In Judge legalizes same-sex marriage in New Jersey the Star-Ledger's Salvador Rizzo wrote:

A state judge today ruled to legalize same-sex marriage in New Jersey, saying gay couples would be denied federal benefits if the state kept allowing only civil unions.

Unfortunately, he also had to write:

Jacobson's ruling represents a victory for gay-

One can only hope that this ruling will stand any and all challenges

I believe it will happen. Some day. And I hope that that day remains 21 October 2013.
