I need a running mix.  I've been running with my player on scramble and well, that's an interesting experience.  Did ya'll know you can't run to BORN TO RUN?  It's too slow to match your pace to the beat and it's too fast to double time.

Okay, technically, I can't run to it.  Your mileage may vary.

And the bridge on HEARTBREAKER nearly killed me ( Read more... )

Wayward Son isn't bad for me early on or as I'm finishing -- it's just fast enough. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds new music off vids! *g*

I seriously love this mix I found on genmix. Trashy pop and fast beats usually get me going.

I'm not crazy about Lindsey Lohan but it looks like a good mix. And isn't it some kind of a rule that at some point in your life you have to run to Chariots of Fire? *g*

Thanks!

The community audiography has weekly themed music challenges, all of which tend to be really good and well attended. This week they are doing a workout theme... you might want to check that out. *g*

For a lot of the music, you have to friend it, but it is a seriously good move.

Cool. That's a lot of interesting music. And it reminded me I have to get my Pink uploaded!

Thanks.

Yay! Because then I can use energy I would have used while putting a mix together from scratch to make it that last quarter mile without dying!

Interesting how much getting back into shape HURTS. Sitting around on my ass all day, not so much.

a live version of the grateful dead singing "scarlet begonias" into "fire on the mountain". usually about 20-30 minutes great regular rhythm to move with . i use it when i'm on the ski machine.

it's possible i'm just a bit obsessed biased partial about that song.

I'm embarrassed to say that all the Grateful Dead albums left with Styx in the divorce. Otoh, I seem to remember really loving 'Fire on the Mountain'... hmmmm, wanders off to iTunes...
