Oh God. Words just cannot express how much I love this. I know nothing about Vala (only watched through Season 7 so far) but I ADORE her voice. And, God... what an awful and bittersweet and triumphant and glorious ending all at once. You made me all sniffly.

"Please, in seventy-two hours I could make it whistle Dixie."

Of COURSE Sam can. *loves*

I love the loyal Marines and the good planning and the way Jack understands everything- the way they understand each other so well they don't even need to communicate, even after all this time apart. And I love Hammond walking *slowly* up to the control room- that made me sniffly too. And I love the last line and the fact that Teal'c doesn't get forgotten in all this. And-

"…that's not even a little surprising."

Oh, Cameron, you are a smart, smart man.

*loves forever*

Dude!

This rocked like a *rocking thing*!!

The pack bait-and-switch was genius!

As, indeed, was the ending. I can get behind Vala's perspective all right!

Awwww! I love this. Although I don't love the IOA. Grrrr....I'm thinking that this SG-1 will kick butt all over the universe. *hugs*

Thank you! I'm quite sure that the IOA just has the good of the American people at heart and... no, actually, I don't believe that either!

Hee! Their history reminds me of certain American institutions which shall go unnamed. And yes, the good of the good of the american people the IOA collective ego. *veg*
