The CBC started airing Torchwood tonight.   We have more ads on this side of the pond so the show had to be cut for time.  Wanna guess what they cut?

Owen's boy kiss.

Granted, it was a non-essential part of the plot  -- in all fairness, possibly the only non-essential chunk of time available for editing out -- and, because the girl is now not waiting

It was such an easy edit -- since it added nothing to the plot and they never do get around to actually using the characterization for anything (as much as I personally enjoyed the scene) -- it almost makes me wonder if it was initially constructed in such a way that it could be edited out. The guys making this know exactly what North American time constraints are, after all.

We'll see what happens later since there's no way in hell they can edit out the flashback kiss or the final yay I'm alive kiss. (that remained vaguely spoiler free *g*)
