Eliot swallowed hard against another surge of nausea. It was bad enough he’d been hit by a car, bad enough he’d been thrown into the harbor, bad enough he’d had to rescue Parker and Hardison on top of that.

Parker was screaming at other drivers like a banshee, the girl beside him - Josie? - was yelling out questions, Hardison was shrieking like a goddamned girl-

And his head was throbbing like a herd of elephants was line-dancing inside his skull.

Parker screamed out another insult, and the car careened into another tire-squealing turn, sending Eliot’s heart and stomach into another unpleasant collision.

Nate seriously didn’t pay him enough for this shit.
