What caught her attention was a crash in the sparring room, and with her hair mostly dry, Mac wandered in with her towel around her shoulders, unconcerned with her wet shorts and t-shirt she'd pulled on over her bikini in the swimming area.
"Y'okay there?" She recognised the woman as Barq, one of Ethan's former subordinates that he'd requested back to join the team following Rictor's incident back when the team first arrived. But Mac hadn't realised she was back from her leave already.

Stepping into the room, Mac left wet foot prints as she padded over the floor. "I'm Mac, we didn't get to meet before you had to head off."

"Lt. Jennifer Barq." She would've offered her hand to shake but she still had the light gloves on and those made things awkward. "You're the mechanic correct?"

Walking in, Daken walked over, feet making no noise as he approached Jen. He hadn't seen this member of team before, but that was hardly new. Daken kept to himself. "Uh oh. Someone's going to be in trouble. The top brass aren't too keen on people breaking their things around here."

She suspected that Ethan would understand what happened and wouldn't even mention it to the General.

There wasn't much going on in her face, making it difficult for him to get a read on her. "So what's your power? Super strength?"

"Yes." She wasn't lying. She could use her telekinesis to boost her punches, giving her momentary super strength. She was maybe bending the truth, but she believed it.
