"New recruit?" He asked curiously when the other man walked by his table. It had been a while since any new mutants had joined the team, and Bradley was beginning to wonder if Stryker, or Emma, or whoever was running the show had finally reached their unspecified quota. Bradley just hoped this guy was friendly. They already had enough psychos who were way too eager to kill on base as it was.

John glanced around trying to see if there was anyone else around to point out. "You've got Hendley, he hates mutants one an' all so avoid him. Stryker's got a bad case of the incontrol attitudes, just mind your tongue and tone with him. Apart from that though most people have got their vices and flaws but give any of them half a chance and they ain't so bad."

"So long as I know how to not get murdered in my sleep, I think that's a pretty okay idea." He'd just avoid the ferals -as 'decent' as Logan might be, Spencer knew that he had a tendency to irritate at the worst moments. It was a personality flaw that often worked in his favour. He doubted it would work the same in this place.
"Can I just ask why there's a guy who hates mutants in a mutant heavy camp?"

"Besides generally giving off the aura of 'scary as fuck,' Hendley serves as the one to make sure none of us make a break for it or anything. He's made a name tracking down mutants." Chris spoke quickly, as if wanting to get off such an unpleasant subject before speaking of the devil brought him near.
