WE BE LEAVING; PACK UR SHITZ [no really]

To say that everything had been a severe headache for the last several weeks would be the understatement of the year. Emma hadn't felt this uncomfortable since she'd been teaching five telepaths how to control themselves. This was just getting ridiculous. Japan had worn off, in Emma's opinion, and Emma's opinion was currently the only opinion that ( Read more... )

Gloria was seriously ready to be out of Japan. Sure she guessed being a team leader was alright but hopefully that might change when they got where they were going. She wasn't too sure what to think everything in her head was a mess but leaving that was a good thing.

She gave the message one last look before turning around. Time to start getting her shit together.

Yeah, sure. Wade's the first problem she thought of when it came to customs... makesppldead September 30 2010, 01:25:18 UTC
The mercenary surveyed the notice with a dull expression. They were leaving Okinawa? What a damn drag. Granted, they'd been here long enough and he never enjoyed staying in one place long at all, but this place was different.

Even someone like Wade knew it was better than to question someone like Emma's orders. But just because he knew something, didn't mean he couldn't be a pain about it. He knew taunting Logan or Victor could lead to a painful claw to the face. Without that aspect though, there was no fun.

He would annoy her in some other manner when he saw her. So with a heavy pout and a sigh, he took to--doing nothing. He'd pack at the last minute. Sitting on his bunk and sharpening his swords sounded much more fun at the moment. "See, I don't know why we can't just make this place our permanent base. I know the local mob is after us and they don't speak English, but so what? It's fun playing Civil War."

I think she was hoping they'd hold him for having dangerous weapons XD movetheearth September 30 2010, 01:42:12 UTC
Hobbling around on his crutch Ric was getting used to having to rely on it though the uneven ground didn't help for speed or anything. Hope had finally given him permission to leave the Med Bay on his own steam, but he still had to report back there until Friday because although he was healing he still wasn't quite one hundred percent.

Trying to not dwell on Martini's abscence (and how he could do so little about it when he could barely walk) Ric was peering round the various rooms that had sustained the least amount of damage so when he heard the sound of swords being sharpened Ric could barely resist the urge to annoy Wade. "Only you would want to stay. The rest of us sensible individuals would rather put as much distance between us and this place."

Keep dreaming you guys, these are state of the art sushi knives <3 makesppldead September 30 2010, 01:55:00 UTC
Wade didn't have to look up to know who it was, and so he didn't. His usual smirk quickly spread to his face as he continued to sharpen at his blade. Unfortunately for Ric, or anyone else dumb enough to try, it was severely hard to 'annoy' Wade. You may as well try to stop the sun from shining.

"I'm sorry to hear that, Gimpy. But us un-sensible individuals who are perfectly capable of handling themselves in the big bad city without breaking our bones are just happy where we are."

He set the blade down beside him and pulled the other from his back, the steel sending a slight hum to the air as it excited the sheath. Immediately he started sharpening it again. "What's the story on the big boo boo anyways? Anything good?"

Well maybe then Ric can convince customs Logan really does have something crammed up his ass :D movetheearth September 30 2010, 10:47:36 UTC
Used to the odd nicknames and snarky remarks from when they had shared a room Ric really wasn't phased by Wade or his over sized sushi knives as it were. If the guy was gonna kill him at least Ric would die a reasonably cool death.

Leaning against the door frame he glanced down at his leg, "I got shot. Stryker sent a few of us on a glorified publicity stunt into the city and we got ambushed. Rebels or rioters I don't know. I was pretty much out of it after I started the quake. Dr Hope says it's healing nicely and that with appropriate PT I'll be able to walk without a limp."

That had been the biggest concern for Ric really, that as much as he'd been shot (that he could handle) he didn't want to be kicked out the team because he couldn't keep up with the others. "Good enough?"
