Coffee Talk [ota]

The living cloaking device had been, at best, quiet. He wasn't his normal talkative self or even the slightist bit troublesome lately. Was he sick? No. Too tired? Nothing past the usual. It could be said that the shift of power had done the trick: He and Hendley were far from best friends. Atticus was far from afraid of the hunter. He'd dealt with him so many times in the past, it was almost as if the man wasn't even a threat to him. But he wasn't stupid.

He had been observing the camp. The new flux of recruits, the new unexplained attack on the mercenaries, and of course the regular hissy from Victor. He had been watching, listening, and paying attention. Which was quite easy to do if you could become invisible.

But Atti could only keep up the secret spy routine for so long, and it wasn't really doing much for him, so eventually he stopped and took to go to the mess hall to make a fresh pot of coffee. Surprising.

Pouring himself a mug of the new roast he scoffed after taking a sip, looking at the coffee grounds to check the flavor. "Well this is..vile." He could credit alot of things to the Japanese. But not their coffee.
