He'd just about thanked every deity when they landed safely, grateful they hadn't spun out and died or run out of fuel and fallen from the sky or something else crazy like that

The compound wasn't all that big, at least in Alyssa's opinion it wasn't. Being an off-shot of the base made it such and she could understand the 'need' or 'want' to have the mutants separated from the armed forces that were just a stones throw away. Generally she would have stuck to the gym for her workouts though with the weather being as nice as it was the want to jog around the camp was far more tempting than just running on a treadmill or an elliptical bike. Rounding a corner with her headphones in, iPod strapped to her arm, she caught sight of the jeep with what looked to be another new arrival entering in to their quaint little section of the island

*He looked the woman up and down, remaining silent. He then pointed in the direction of the rooms.*

*Okay, so, he knew where the rooms were. He had no idea how the 'team' thing was actually running, what the deal with it was, and where his team room thing was.*

Any idea where I can find the Kappa room or whatever they're being called?

"Kappa?" Lyssa laughed softly, giving the new arrival an apologetic smile. "Come on. I'll show you were the dorms are at. I'm not a member of that team but we are all housed in the same building."

Raising a hand she offered it toward Malachai. "Welcome to the team. I'm Alyssa... and if I remember correctly your team lead is John Wraith. He's a good man, but you're also stuck with Wilson which I have to apologize for. Slightly." A wide grin had split across the shorter woman's face that was friendly enough. It was always interesting meeting new arrivals, especially since there hadn't been that many in Russia after she had gotten there.

*Malachai felt a small smile spread across his face, and he hesitated briefly before he took the offered hand, shaking it once before pulling away.*

*He cocked his head slightly.*

Another recruit? "My goodness, Stryker certainly put the word out," Bradley thought to himself as he watched yet another jeep pull up and dump another passenger out. They had lost many team members in Russia, through those who abandoned the team, got transferred out, or the rare few who had been killed. But it seemed the commander wasted no time in swelling the ranks yet again.

"Let me guess. You're the newest member of the team." It was said more as a statement then a question. "Need any help finding your way around?"

I think I'm pretty right. But, uh, any idea where the Kappa room is?

Chris nodded, wondering what the newcomer's powers were. Granted, he considered just about everyone's powers to be superior to his own technopathy. "Yeah, sure. Go that way, and into the first building you come to. Kappa is the first room on the left."
