Things were certainly not looking good for Stryker at the moment. Yes, he'd managed to find another telepath for the team - two, in fact, which was even better than he'd expected - and that should help with a few problems he'd been having lately. But the latest mission had turned out to be a disaster, and he was still trying to deal with all the paperwork, not to mention the 'disposal' of the body. That was becoming a larger headache than he could have imagined.

Rahne opened the door and saw Stryker at his desk, apparently busy with paperwork. She approached the desk respectfully and quietly waiting until he looked up and acknowledged her before she spoke.

"Sir, I have two requests. One, I was wondering if there's any special type advancement in military technology that might make it easier for shifting between my various forms. I'd like to refrain from shredding my clothes or being stark naked if I need to shift back. Two, I'd like permission to go into town at your earliest convenience."

She kept it short, sweet, and to the point. Most military people she'd met liked things that way, and anything she could do to get in his good graces would be advantageous.
