Bored [at the stage of headbutting a wall = ota]

With all the white, the constant cold and literally nothing to do, St John was bored. Bored, pissed off, cranky and still figuring out if Esme was still pissed off at him. Which made him more cranky ( Read more... )

*El had read half a book, made a coffee, drank said coffee, spoken to Scion, read the rest of her book had another coffee and was now completely and utterly bored. She'd wrapped up nice and warm and headed out into the snow.

After a half hour of aimlessly wandering, almost hoping something to do would appear in front of her, El spotted Pyro perched on the roof of a jeep. She hadn't spoken to him since the day he'd decided that almost passing out in the door way of the mess tent in Africa had been a good idea. She walked closer, stopping at the front of the jeep.*

Hi there.

Pyro glanced at her, remembering briefly meeting her while concussion was still the word of the moment. "Hey." Having a concussion and not having a concussion didn't really change his attitude however.

Pyro doubted anything would really change the attitude, other than Esme really. He was surprised that she'd even bothered coming outside, with the lack of heat, he'd have thought everyone wanted to stay inside.

How's your head?

*She leant across the bonnet and looked up at him.*

What're you doing out here in the cold?

"Yeah, head's fine, thanks." Mostly it was, not that throbbing concussed, sickening pain of before. Instead it was almost healed, all that was left was a slight discolouration on his temple.

At the following question, he just shrugged lightly. "Got bored inside, not much else to do outside mind." Pyro didn't feel the cold just the same as the others, it was just a touch more bearable for him.

Without warning, Rahne was standing right behind him atop the jeep, looking down at him with a slight smile. "Nice zippo."
She was a stealthy feral indeed, decidedly taking a seat next to him and sitting indian style.

"So you smoke too?"

Pyro's brow arched as he looked over at her, then up at where she might've come from and down at the ground. His internal monologue was something along the lines of 'what the fuck' while tried to fathom out where the hell she'd come from.

"No." His brain was still catching up with his mouth. "Never saw the point in it." Stealing food was one thing, trying to steal cigarettes was just a touch harder.

Rahne just nodded, being a bit more reserved than usual around this one before pulling out her own zippo and lighting up. Her gaze shifted to his as she seemed to stare right through him. The wolf was evaluating him carefully.

"I'm Rahne, I'm new here."

For whatever reason she didn't figure him the hand-shaking type and refrained from offering a clawed hand, taking a deep drag and blowing an impressive sized smoke ring into the cold air.

"Pyro, I'm not." The wolf could kiss his ass for all he cared. He didn't rightly care about anyone else's powers save for if he had to go up against them, and right then, he wasn't looking to antagonise a fight out of anyway.

Least of all the new girl -or whatever. He wasn't really in the mood for small talk, but it beat staring at the snow. "So what'd you do to end up here?"

Jack had been out taking a walk, just clearing his head out. He had been born and raised in a rural area, so just being in nature helped soothe some of his irritability away. Tramping back through the snow, his eye looked up and saw Pyro sitting on the jeep. Great. He wasn't in the mood to antagonize the young punk, and hopefully Pyro would let him pass without that mouth of his getting involved.

Ha, not likely. Pyro watched, one eyebrow raised, lighter snapping open and shut, sparking once every third time. It was new for Jack to be the irritable, not in the mood one. And it made Pyro smirk.

"Bad news from Santa Clause?"

Of course not. This kid needed a muzzle. Or maybe just his tongue ripped out. Either option would have been fine by Jack. He paused to retort an answer.

"Yeah, he ain't bringing me that AK-47 like I wanted. Won't be bringing you anything either, since you still haven't learned to shut that mouth of yours, kid."

Oh, he really was in a grumpy mood, and Pyro was on the roof of the jeep. Now he needed to figure out if Jack really would just shoot him or not.

"Doesn't bother me. I'll just take what I want." He'd never had hand outs, why wait for some mythical fat man in a red suit? "Maybe you've just been a really bad boy."
