Oops! ~(Nudge to EL) OTA~

It must have happened sometime during the night or early morning hours when Rahne's human form got too cold. During her sleep the wolf thought it best to stay warm it seemed but it didn't want to take up much room. Now this wasn't something that happened often, but she wasn't used to being anywhere *this* cold, and so laying under her covers was ( Read more... )

*El had gotten up in the middle of the night to pee. She wandered back into the room, a little more awake now she'd been up for a few minutes. Walking back into the room, she glanced over at her room mate's bed.*

Holy shit!

*She really hoped that was Rahne's mutation. Otherwise a wolf had eaten her room mate while she slept unknowingly.*

At the sudden exclamation, Rahne woke with a start, though she did look rather silly with the covers over her wolf form with only her nose sticking out. Part of the blanketed form moved as her head popped up, the covers falling off of her head as her ears perked up. She didn't realize what was going on yet and just turned her icy blue gaze to El, who was freaking out for some reason. Just as she was about to ask what was the matter, she realized she couldn't ask. Instead of face-palming, a paw was raised in an all too human like manner to her face, her arm curling it into that sort of 'oh no I can't look' thing that dogs did to be cute with a grunty-whine. Her dogtags clinked as she moved out from under the covers, though still staying on the bed, her shirt still on her furry form.

This was very embarrassing and Rahne knew she must look ridiculous and she felt awful that she hadn't mentioned anything to El about it.

*El stood in the middle of the room, eyes wide. She was completely at a loss. She hadn't dealt with anything like this. She'd on;y ever dealt with people with subtle mutations. This wasn't subtle.*

Oh my God.

*She took a stab in the dark, hoping something would happen to indicate the wolf in front of her was indeed her room mate and not something that snuck in.*

Rahne?

As El said Rahne's name, she let out a some growly talky wolf sounds, a bit like she was *trying* to speak. Rahne didn't want to shift back though yet, it was damn cold and it seemed this was a much more practical form for sleeping in the current climate...and frankly she didn't want to be suddenly stark naked in front of El. Instead Rahne the wolf hopped down from her bed, dog tags around her neck and her shirt still on which looked utterly ridiculous and sat there like some sort of trained movie animal, just looking up at El with icy blue eyes, hoping she realized the situation and that it was ok.
