Evan sat at one of the tables, nursing a now cold mug of coffee and playing with a folded and shredded napkin. He'd already put on his thermals, a half dozen pair of socks -which meant his boots didn't lace up, two pairs of pants and his five t-shirts under his military issue jacket. The thing was Scion already knew all of his teammates, from their files. It was his job to know, however personally? Not at all. He had met a few here and there, but X-13 didn't go out on a limb to say hi how are you or all that jazz. He kept to himself, kept quiet and kept out of the way until he was ordered to ( ... )

"Yeah, course. Free mess hall and all that." This one had to be new, newer than him at least. Or just back from a mission. What did Emma say? Select few were given these confidential missions and were away for periods of time. Maybe that was what this one was like.

Which was fine. Mostly.
"Isn't that just like, a codename or whatever?" Because that would make sense, as obviously, Pyro wasn't actually called Pyro. "Don't you have a proper name?"

Then, he did turn, a small smile on his face. He was still bloody cold, but it wasn't as bad as during the night. "You think it has to sign some kind of waver or something? A disclosure to never reveal the secrets?"

I have no idea. If I ever meet a coffee that can talk, I'll make sure to ask.
*She indicated the seat across from him.*
Mind if I sit?
