Arriving at the base in Russia wasn't exactly high up there on Holly's 'fun times abroad' list. She only had a list of one experience and this was it. They took me out of Vegas, she thought, for this? Impressed, she wasn't. But then, what choice did she have

Down the hall, out the side, near the armoury -directly opposite the garage. Holly already knew where she would end up, the faces she'd meet along the way, fun enough.
Getting there was always fun.

*Rogue slipped a strand of hair behind her ear, a slightly nervous gesture as she offered a brief smile.*
Ah'm Rogue. Um, the girls dorms are down that way, and there should be a door just past there to take you outside, it's pretty cold, so...wrap up?
*For some reason, Rogue still managed to make a statement sound like a question.*

But that didn't mean Holly had to put on the face. "So, head honcho is out there again? Fabu. I love the cold." Pulling the hood of her jacket up, Holly started walking again.
"Thanks for that Rogue; I'll be sure to remember those layers that you've got down." Russia, woo. Maybe she should've snagged some more clothes before being bumped on that plane.

She just kept on the path, knowing that if something needed changing, she'd see it. Problem with seeing was that she didn't hear. It would've been nice to get the heads up on that one.

Big cat was right, she hated the zoo most times, but this one didn't even have bars on the cages. What kind of nut-cases was she thrown in with? The staring and waiting got on her nerves, and it was just a shit case that she had to be the one to determine the course.
Stopping and turning, she raised an eyebrow towards him and opened her palms in gesture. "What!?"

Then again, this girl was yet another redhead, and Fred was more than a little biased. Uncertain of drectly introducing himself, he merely stood in plain sight. Hell, he could be hiding and still be in plain sight.*

"Hey, big guy, wanna give a doll a helping hand?" She knew where she was going, everything had mapped out in her head, but that didn't mean she couldn't take her own sweet time following it. "Rogue gave me directions, but I'm not a great navigator.
How do I find Stryker from here?" Even as she spoke, she pulled her jacket tighter around herself. Cold weather and her didn't mix all that well.

Uh... hi.
*Ignore the hair, fuckwit.*
It's... *he lifted a hand, gesturing in a general direction*
... down the way. Next door to the armory.

It took her a minute to watch things, to anyone else, she was just standing there, eyebrow quirked up and her gaze slightly off. "You know, if you tried to pretend you had some confidence, people would like you more."
Was it a little brash? Maybe, but Holly was nothing if not direct.

It was her first basic thought, until she realised that actually, it was a child. Well damn, they were starting them young, weren't they.
She'd known that it would be an eclectic group she joined. But kids? Holy fuck.

What she did notice, however, was the new girl. Laura handed the bag to one of the npc soldiers passing before heading over.
"Hello," she said with a brief smile on her face. The smile looked a little awkward. She wasn't used to it just yet and it showed.
"You are new."
Reply
"Just pulled in; you're not?" It wasn't a terribly awkward exchange, despite the apparent awkwardness of the other girl. Holly had seen more awkwardness.

"No. I have been with the team for months. What is your name?"

Seeing things work out rather comfortably, Holly offered a small smile, it wasn't like she needed to be frozen just because of Russia. "And you are?"
