"I'm not wanted in this state."
"How many young women work here?"
"I didn't steal it; I just borrowed it."
"You touch somebody and they call it sexual harassment!"
"I've never heard such a stupid question."

Believe it or not, the above statements weren't overheard in bars or random conversations -- they were said in job interviews.

In all honesty, if I hear one more cookie-cutter interview question that starts off, "Tell me about a time when you...", I am very liable to give an answer like one of those.

Come on, hiring managers! You see that I have almost 10 years of call center experience & you have the huevos to ask me to give a specific example of a problem with a customer?!

It's too bad more people don't have the cojones to goof around on some of those HR script questions. Sometimes I wonder if they're waiting for someone to do that so they know you can think outside the box.

I know, that's a great article. It makes me feel so much more competent. ;P
My favorite was the one about living in the gypsy camp at the airport. I would have cut that person some slack, I think.

I felt sorry for the guy who's pants fell down because he couldn't afford to buy a suit and had to borrow one that was too big. :-(
