I feel like anytime there's a revolving door like that, there's something up with the company. Maybe it's good you didn't get that job.

I always go with the feeling that I escaped something that is probably on the insane side. If the company is that flakey to keep posting the same job over and over, then it is probably better to avoid the whole thing and the resulting drama.

It makes me feel better, anyways.

When that happens, there's either something wrong with the job or with the department it's associated with.

I don't apply for those jobs anymore. Sometimes I have found out later what is wrong with the people/job...and yes, I usually have dodged a bullet.

Your icon is so cute :)

I applied with them the first time the ad ran. Ten days later, it ran again, and almost weekly since then. I'm rather glad I'm not there, to be honest!

Normally, I'd say sometimes they run more ads because, for example, I work at a convenience store chain that's already done open interviews three weeks apart because there's just too many positions vacant and they can't find the people with the right experience (although running register is pretty easy to teach), or who aren't willing to comply to company policies regarding uniforms. Other times it's because someone goes on extended leave (like my one coworker that just went on maternity leave). But yeah, you like to think it could have been avoided if you were hired.
