Having read some of the posts here, seems I'm in the same boat as some- over-educated with a lack of "real" experience. I cannot call myself an "expert" in my field until I have 3 years under my belt, I am considered a novice. I finished my MA/EdS in School Psych last May. I have a seasonal retail job right now, so I'm happy I can pay *some* of my bills. I'm still in school though so at least my student loan lenders will not be bugging me for money.

If they don't keep me... Well, I'll probably just go back to focusing on school, making yummy dinners, and getting back to my knitting. I've been applying for tons of on-campus jobs. I find it amazing that I can't even find a part-time job with 15-20 hours a week for a student. Blows my fucking mind.

I'm just hoping that once I am done with grad school, I can get a job. I think it's awful that a lot of people are going to grad school and now they are deemed "over-educated." Wtf is that all about? I wish everyone good luck, and happy holidays. Be sure to enjoy them!

Argh, awful. It's been 6 months and I think I'm going to go crazy with boredom. That and the money stress is *seriously* dinting my relationship with my Significant Other, which is Not Good.

I have an interview next week, and another application in the pipeline - I've just moved to a tiny rural area where, honestly, there being ONE job to apply for each week is something to be grateful for. ARGH!
