After handing out resumes in person for the past month, literally about 20 places (half of which were up to 50 miles away), I finally have an interview!! I say take it if it's offered! you might not end up moving. but even if you do, a lot of employers now don't care enough about their employees, they do whatever's best for the company, and to make money, so I don't see why you shouldn't do the same.

This! Take it, and then if he gets the job, give your required notice (it should say in your employment contract. Most places, it's two weeks.)

Also, if it turns out you need any tips for the area of Maryland around the GSFC, I grew up not fifteen minutes away and would be happy to yammer at you forever.

The move is not certain. Do not mention it. The interview is about you and your skills. Its better for you to worth 3 months with them and then give notice when you're sure you're moving. They can find someone to replace you, and you need something to fill your days for the time being.

I agree - if you DO have to move, that's gonna cost moolah, so you may as well be earning it right now, so that you won't have quite as much of a struggle when the time comes to go north.

ALSO: i echo the previous commenters, that it's not certain you are going to move. so don't count your chickens, just sit on the eggs for now.

Most Importantly: ~~~GOOD luck on your interview!~~~

Where did you get interviews? I'd say just take whatever you're offered and mention the move when you're sure your moving.
