Ehhh.. I have a conference in Montreal from the 28th to Nov 2nd. We might be able to work it out so that I stay a day early in K-Town if I can get a car rental, or I might be stuck in a car with other engineers for the ride to Montreal, if I can't rent my own car. We'll have to see.

Crap...when is your presentation? You really only NEED to be there for that. All the other papers you can just get from the proceedings (do you really want to sit through a poor presentation of the results by someone who can't pronounce any of the words? :P)

Yeah my presentation is on Oct 31st, which isn't the problem... it's more that I will probably be getting a free ride to Montreal via others going to the conference, and I can't rent a car on the weekend for just one day (i.e. come down the Friday to K-Town, return the Saturday) since it is a minimum 3-day rental. If I can manage to swing something, then I'll be in, but it's looking a bit tricky as it stands right now.
