Michael Sheen in Blood Diamond

Hey all!

I've had a bit more time lately, so I'm making more Michael Sheen clip videos from various films.

Tonight I bring you his scenes from Blood Diamond (2006).  It's a great movie, though Michael's only in a tiny bit of it.  Spoiler alert if you plan on seeing the whole film some day!  It really is quite good.

Linake you and I should talk. We seem to share the same taste in films. Mary Reilly is garbage indeed. Julia Roberts accent is woeful, if not for Michael I wouldn't have bothered to watch it at all.

Personally I'll love to see his role in Wilde. If you can :)

Talk we shall! Julia Roberts was absolute rubbish in this. I usually find her funny or at least charming in other films, but in this she sounded more like she was from the Southern US than from Ireland. Even John Malkovich's accent was... well, John Malkovichy.

It's surprising that the same guy who directed The Deal and The Queen could also be responsible for Mary Reilly. Time and practice work wonders, I suppose.

I'll be posting the Mary Reilly stuff soon. It's all ready, I just don't want to flood everyone's friends page with two large videos so close together :P Later tonight I will put it up.

They really do, Thank goodness. I normally like such bleakness in films as you find a bit of beauty in it but i really didnt care for that film at all. Ive yet to see a decent jekyll and hyde film.

Thanks for this - I saw Blood Diamond a few years ago and couldn't remember Michael's role (was too emotionally shattered from the rest of the film, I guess!)

He really does do smarmily evil extraordinarily well...

I've done 'Timeline' - do you want it for your channel? Be better to keep the clips together, methinks.

Sure, I'd love to put Timeline up :D He was damn hot in that movie, as well. I'll credit your YouTube name, of course, if that's where you've uploaded it.

I've not uploaded it anywhere, yet - tried to put it on YouTube but the upload failed (network connection issue, I think). My own youtube is mainly 1-2 min clips of fan gatherings that are of no interest to anyone but my friends, so the film would probably sit better on your channel. I'm not too familiar with how YouTube works - can you include it if I upload on my account?

That's assuming they let it stay up, of course. Last time I uploaded movie clips they were removed almost immediately.

I may put them up on Megavideo. Since both New Moon and 30 Rock have been removed I only have one more strike and then all of my videos are deleted and my account banned :| I'm sure we can figure out a way to make it work!
