Most of the time, Mac's job was fairly simple. Keep the cars running, keep the base working, monitor the security system. Not an awful lot happened to those three sections of the base operations; people were the problem, not the machines. And Mac would forever stick to that.
So in her weekly run down of the security systems, she hadn't expected to find anything at all wrong. So finding not one bug, but several, it's a huge issue. She's not sure how her system could be infiltrated, it's not supposed to be possible, but there is it.
The training centre, the offices, the med centre, the mess, a few floors on both buildings, even her garage. All the monitoring camera and security are reporting internal server issues. Which means someone on the inside hooked something up to her system. Which means sorting them out one by one.
Fuck, her day just got blown out the window. She'd been looking forward to a moderately quiet afternoon, maybe one where she could find and just chill out with Jesse, but no. She now had to go around the base, everywhere around the base, and covertly fix the issues before reporting them to Frost and Sykes. God, fucking, damnit.
