God, that hurts.

But, eventually, she forgets she was ever supposed to miss him.

She forgets him and that’s bad enough, but worse still, she forgets it’s supposed to hurt.

And, no, I don't believe it. Hurt can fade, but she'll never forget him or stop missing him :)

don't get me wrong - it's a wonderful fic, in a rip your heart heart and stomp on it while it's still beating kind of way :)

but I honestly think for Rose, she would never ever forget the Doctor for as long as she lived. It's kind of hard to lose the memory of being sucked into the void ;)
