Well, the child I wrote about in my last two posts was put in ISS for four days today! My P went and pulled him from class first thing this morning. I also talked to one of his teachers from last year, and basically, he had repeated 6th grade, and both times as a 6th grader, he came really close to being reassigned to the alternative school.

Be strong! It sounds nice you're doing everything right and slowly the administration is helping. Hope it all works out. Poor kid.

I agree with the first half for sure. I like to pull the, "do you feel like you are respected? what does it feel like to get the respect of your peers? do you think if you had a good idea, they would follow your lead?... SOOOOOOOO how about you think of ways to use your powers for GOOD and not EVIL?" sometimes it falls flat, but more often than not I've had that work with the kind of kids you described. make sure you stress the APPROPRIATE leadership roles hahah i hate when they think that means they can police the class.
