School's Out for Summer
Yay!!!  So far I haven't gotten to relax much until this morning.  It's been nonstop stuff with Ariana, end of the year housekeeping, seeing Shaunna and helping her out before her move (see below), etc.  But, I'm really looking forward to some down time this summer, catching up on books, catching some sun, taking some nice ( Read more... )

Your condo plans sounds fabulous! The process itself doesn't sound so great....but the end result will (hopefully) worth the stress!

What are your plans for returning to work post-baby? The more I think about working f/t time next I am dreading it - eventually I want to secure a job-share position so I only have to work p/t. Seems like there are lots of options for that in the schools!!

Enjoy your lazy day - we're having one of those as well. So nice...

Yeah, the process won't be fun but I'm sure the end result will be well worth it!

I don't plan to return to work after baby arrives. I'm going to take a leave of absence so that the option is there if I want to take it but I'm thinking I'll end up ulitimately resigning at the end of my leave. Job share would be fabulous. I have a couple of friends who do this currently and they LOVE it.

Gotta love hte lazy days! ;o)

LOVE the appliances! You look fantastic, I watched part of the game. I have been thinking about Lindsay lately too and I hope she is doing well. I miss her!

Hey girly! Happy summer! Make sure you do some fun things for yourself and spend some time relaxing.

So sad that Shauna moved:( It's so hard to say goodbye to friends, but I am sure you two will stay in great contact with one another.

Glad you are doing well!

Hey thanks! I'm doing some relaxing today (still never got dressed and it's now almost 7 PM). :o) Saying goodbye certainly stank but I'm glad she's at least moved somewhere that I will enjoy visiting!

The condo updates and that baby's room, you are going to have one heck of a place that you are living in. Love the wine fridge by the way, that is one of my summer projects, reorganize all of our wine and I just may need to get a fridge for things too!

Well, anything will be an upgrade at this point! :o) We currently have mauve colored carpet (ick!) so we can't wait to have it OUT! :o) Brad was especially excited about this wine fridge and kept talking about getting one so last weekend I just said, "Let's go get it." So far so good and I love the look of it. Organizing wine is definitely a feat. We just got started on it as we were transferring bottles into the fridge. We were adding little tie on tags to each bottle and putting some info on the tags like a "drink by" date for the wines we were advised were best drank in certain years. GL!

mm I would love to live that close to Alki I love the water! If you move will you leave W. Seattle?

I think it's sad you won't go back to teaching (though I totally understand it) you seem to have a real passion for teaching and I am sure it will be true loss for the kids.
