I feel like that's how I begin most of my posts over these past few months... "It's been a long time... blah, blah, blah." I have to say though that this supposed "m/s" (which for me lasts from mid-afternoon throughout much of the night) has really kicked me in the keester. It usually starts soon after lunch and just keeps getting worse

How much time are you going to take off from teaching once the baby arrives? That is great that you are going to loop with your students. I hope to do that next year.

What does it mean that the parents would "opt out"? Switch their kids to a different teacher?
How long will you take off before starting back up?

The parents can choose to have their child not loop up with me next year and then, if there is room, their child will be placed with one of the other two classes that are looping up.
I'm actually planning to stay home once the baby is here but I'm not giving notification at work yet because I want the option to return if I choose to. ;o)

I actually really love the crib in the first picture. I guess I did Schmoopie's room with pretty traditional looking stuff so now I really like the more modern look.
Anyhoo, I'm glad to see you LJ girls get together - at least if we do move to Seattle I know I'll already have a few people to hang out with!

If you do come to Seattle I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to find some great people to get together with (LJ and non-LJ). :o)
