Been a while... but what's new right?

I feel like that's how I begin most of my posts over these past few months... "It's been a long time... blah, blah, blah."  I have to say though that this supposed "m/s" (which for me lasts from mid-afternoon throughout much of the night) has really kicked me in the keester.  It usually starts soon after lunch and just keeps getting worse ( Read more... )

student teacher woes, baby items, nursery, ultrasound, lj gtg

Sorry to hear that your morning sickness is so bad :-( I love all of the bedding that you've chosen! Where are the polka dot gliders from?

Sounds like you had a fun afternoon:) Sorry you are experiencing such bad M/S - hopefully it goes away soon!

How much time are you going to take off from teaching once the baby arrives? That is great that you are going to loop with your students. I hope to do that next year.

Good luck with your student teacher.

Such cute bedding - I love the pashmina blue and the cottage stripe blue, cute!

Such a special picture of your little one:)

Looking at crib bedding is both fun and overwhelming at the same time! I'm actually planning to be a SAHM after baby arrives but I'm not giving notification to work because I want to have the option to go back to work should I choose to.

If I don't get a full-time job next year I would be more than happy to teach your class while you are gone:)

My sister is also PG and she is super sick. They gave her a drug called "Zofran" and she says it helps a bit... Gosh I'm sorry you're so sick. I felt like crap for most of my pregnancy, but nothing like you (or my sister) are describing. UGH!

What does it mean that the parents would "opt out"? Switch their kids to a different teacher?

How long will you take off before starting back up?

You know I hadn't really thought of going on the meds because as long as I'm lying down I don't throw up (yeah, it gets real old real quick laying down but I keep thinking it will pass). So, we shall see. If this doesn't go away soon I'm going to have to talk to my doc.

The parents can choose to have their child not loop up with me next year and then, if there is room, their child will be placed with one of the other two classes that are looping up.

I'm actually planning to stay home once the baby is here but I'm not giving notification at work yet because I want the option to return if I choose to. ;o)

good plan! I'm doing the same thing. And I *think* I'm going to work a deal where I can sort of do some hourly work just to keep my hand in it a little bit...

I love all the bedding sets - especially the last one. I can help you justify spending a lot of money on the bedding or I can tell you why it's not worth spending so much on bedding (I'm good that way) - let me know which way you want a push! :)

I actually really love the crib in the first picture. I guess I did Schmoopie's room with pretty traditional looking stuff so now I really like the more modern look.

Anyhoo, I'm glad to see you LJ girls get together - at least if we do move to Seattle I know I'll already have a few people to hang out with!

Ah yes, the justification for spending... :o) I'm pretty good at that myself and it doesn't help that Brad has told me I can get whatever bedding I like. Decisions, decisions.

If you do come to Seattle I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to find some great people to get together with (LJ and non-LJ). :o)

I love all those sets, the first one is awesome, and I think would be so great to go either boy or girl once you know! I have a soft spot for anything Serena & Lily though. It's funny, once I got to decorating, it was about the paint first and wanting that to be different then everything I'd seen, so then I kind of limited myself! The chandys are awesome, so, so pretty! Love seeing the pic of the little one too :)

Yeah, that's what I think about the first one too. Plus, Brad has this bizarre love for all things polka dot so it seems fitting. :o) I can't wait to see your nursery... you need to post some pics especially now that her "official" crib is here! Glad we were able to get together today... highlight of my weekend!
