So there are a couple of Glee headcanons I adapted early on and I'm sticking to it. some are riddic (like Will being in love with kurt) but some are strong and actually became canon - like Burt being an asshole jock. I mean, the first time I ever looked at this guy, all I've seen was trouble.
This fic fits in perfectly with that headcanon, it would break my heart to see it happening on the show but yeah, I'd probably love it so much.

The ending - the way it's implied it's possible Burt didn'tchange or that deep down inside this is what Kurt believes... ouch. Chilling stuff.

I like that he was once an asshole jock in canon, but sometimes I have the feeling that the only reason he's so accepting of Kurt is because Kurt was, for the longest time, quite literally the only thing Burt had left. I get the feeling that Kurt picked up on the ex-jock vibes, and that was one of the reasons he was so afraid to come out to his dad.
