Told you I had updates. Pretty big ones too. I always seem to have stuff to post when I can't reach my computer. And I honestly don't know how long this story is going to be. It depends on how much I decide to write for sophomore year (aka season one). We'll see, I guess.

Catching up on your updates now that my finals are over. I love this story, it's great and I really like the way you're telling it. I also love seeing the bullying incidents first hand from Kurt's perspective and how much they affect him.

I also like that this is gen, 'cause while I write mostly slash and read tons of it, sometimes it's really nice to see Burt + Kurt fics prior to glee club. Also, I'm requesting a sequel to Castles in the Sand. Pretty Please?

Oh man, I totally missed this comment due to vacation and a pile up of messages. Sorry for the late reply. D:

It's definitely been interesting exploring the little throwaway lines and scenes about bullying and expanding upon them. I'm glad to hear that I'm pulling it off well.

Some of my favorite stories are gen because even though I do love a good romance, stories about friends and family are easier for me to relate to. Also, romance of any sort really wouldn't fit well into this story. At all.

I don't think I'd be able to come up with anything for a sequel to Castles in the Sand, even though the end is kind of open. I think I'll leave it where it is for now, and maybe get back to it later.
