I don’t have photos, because by the time I start cooking my turkey, you might have had to do yours, so I just want to get up some tips for those of you who need help!

Ahhh do you have the problem where the tube part falls down into the pan or the one where they backsquirt boiling turkey fat on you or a completely different one? I have actually never used a roasting bag! Does the skin still come out crispy with them?

Oh god that is horrible!

I just realized that my blog keeps getting hits from people asking about cooking their turkeys in garbage bags. I thought they were asking about brining but now I suspect they are asking about replacing a roasting bag with a garbage bag and...oh god no.

I am going to sleep now! Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Turkey came out awesome. I buttered it (butter with maple syrup and pepper) and stuffed it with my cornbread-sausage stuffing and roasted it, and it is so so so good. :)
